It’s 2 a.m., and I can’t sleep.
A question I thought I’d settled years ago is back, and it’s louder than ever.
When I die, will God accept me? Or have I let Him down one too many times?
So I make the rookie mistake of picking up my phone and doomscrolling YouTube. The algorithm seems to know exactly what I’m struggling with and serves up clips that drive up my anxiety and guilt.
Some nights I’m the guy who’s blown it. Other nights I’m the guy who’s worn out from trying harder to be good. Maybe you can relate.
Then I felt the Holy Spirit nudge me to open Romans. I’d read it plenty of times before. This time I went slowly, one chapter at a time, and I let it ask me the questions instead.
By the end, I had something I hadn’t had in years: solid ground to stand on.
That’s how 30 Days Through Romans was born.
